  • I love working in my cookshop. I listen to audio stories, such as Paul Temple, The Good Life, Dads Army - and recently, whilst baking Christmas Cakes, Christmas Carols (good old Bing Crosby). Who? I hear the younger generation saying. I always bake with love, as did my Mother.

  • When I am not working, I love being in the garden where I enjoy pottering about listening to the birds and looking after my flowers.

  • This was taken in my commercial kitchen affectionately known as the \\\'cookshop\\\' although I do not have a shop. My husband converted this building for me to work from, rather than my own kitchen.

  • This year\\\'s Christmas cakes on show at the Eurofair including samples - I was taking orders.

  • Eurofair, Dane John, Canterbury in September 2011. Thank you to all those people who visited my stall at the Eurofair and those who have contacted me since to order cakes, it was lovely to see and speak to you all. I must also say thank you to my very supportive husband, Gary and my daughter-in-law, Priscilla, who helped me on the stall on the Friday and Saturday. The venue also gave me a chance to promote my local, finger buffet service. www.simplyafternoonteas.co.uk. email: info@simplyafternoonteas.co.uk. Hopefully, I will be attending more fairs next year, as I did enjoy it so.
